ILLUSTRATIONS FOR THE PICTURE BOOK "DYREBAR"
This book project is a collaboration together with the well-known and aknowledged Norwegian author Mette Karlsvik. Published by Magikon in March of 2014. This book is for children from about 10 years of age, as well as for grown ups who enjoy the concept of art books. Mette and I shared the inspiration for a story about childhood and the first encounter with wild animals, so Mette has written a wonderful story inspired by herself as a young girl.
The title "Dyrebar" is the Norwegian word for something that is of great value, something precious to us. A big thanks to Stina Bergstø Monsen who was willing to pose for reference photos for the book!
